Social Networking Sites – Do they really pay their members?

Thursday, October 2nd, 2008

Have you heard about Yuwie?

How about Zenzuu?

I bet you haven’t heard about 6dgr!

This are social sites that pays you for using their website, what they do is share a part of their advertising revenue depending on how many pages you have browse and how many page views you had by other visiting your profile.  Is quite amazing “The Concept” that just for doing the same thing you have done with other social sites like posting pictures, writing on blogs, chat with friends, join discussion groups, etc… You get paid!

However I have heard that in order to get paid in Yuwie you have to have  A LOT of page views just  to receive like $0.15 cents or so.  What, all my effort for only that?

This is my total earning in Yuwie:

My Yuwie Earnings WOW!!!

I’ll be honest, I don’t use it very often but here is a picture of my friend Sans who really use Yuwie:

$0.84 Cents for 24,633 page views? Common!!!

And I haven’t talk about Zenzuu! You see, Zenzuu since their launch like 5 months ago, they haven’t pay a single cent to their members… Why? Because they share their advertising revenue…  You do the math!!!

They keep pushing back the 1st pay date a month at a time (5 times already since July) so no one will quit. The 1st pay date is schedule now for November 15, we shall see. Zenzuu doesn’t want to tell people that most business don’t make a profit until after 2 or 3 years, since if they do no one will join. Last I check in math class 80% of ZERO profit is still ZERO.

Now 6dgr is different, because you don’t get paid for using the website nor for page views or anything like that… You get paid for inviting friends to use 6dgr.  And you don’t get paid $0.15 or $1.20 not even $2.00 for your effort of inviting… You get paid $4.00 every time you invite someone to register for FREE!  That’s right $4.00 just for inviting… You might be thinking, $4.00? I can’t get rich with $4 dollars.  And you may be right or you could be wrong…

You see, $4 for every person you refer, hum!  If you refer 10 people that’s $40, If you refer 100 people that’s $400, If your refer 1000 people that’s $4000… Get my point?  You won’t get rich, but is a nice income to complement your current situation.  You also get paid for the people your friends refer and so on… All the details about the compensation plan are here!  And remember you’re inviting people to a social site that is Free like Facebook and Myspace like you have always done but this time you get paid!

Let me ask you a question.  How much did Facebook paid you for inviting all your friends? How about Myspace?  You see they have become a million if not, a billion dollar company thanks to your help but they haven’t pay you a single cent for that, not even a thank you note or a complementary dinner…

I encourage you to go to the link below and register today, so you can start inviting your friends and start receiving your piece of the money pie!

Digsby – A 3in1 application for Web 2.0 to keep in touch with your market.

Wednesday, August 13th, 2008

I found this program while browsing the internet called Digsby.
Digsby is a 3in1 Web 2.0 application, witch means you have a “Instant Message + Email Notification + Social Networks” all in 1 place.  For me this is awesome!  I have centralize all my contacts with Digsby and it has made my life much easier.  Here are some of the feature I’m using:

Instant Message – MSN Messenger, Google Talk, Yahoo Messenger, Facebook Chat and others.

Email Notification – Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, IMAP, AOL, you can also add all your POP3 accounts and receive notifications of new emails.

Social Networks – Facebook, Myspace and Twitter.  (more coming soon)

I was looking for a long time for a application that could integrate all of the above, and I think I finally found it.

Digsby is still in beta, witch means you can encounter some glitches or bugs but it has been pretty stable to me.  The only problem I have encounter is that I couldn’t configure my Facebook account in the Social Networks lists but I still have it in the Instant Message part in Facebook chat.

You can also add it to your own site or blog very easy.

I’m thinking of making a video to show you how to use Digsby and how you can use it to maximize your time and keep in touch with your market.

What do you think?  If you want me to make a video about Digsby and how to maximize your time with it, just add comments and I’ll see what I can do for you.

To get more info on Digsby and give it a try go to www.digsby.com

Well, take care everyone and until next time.
